The Semantic Technology & Business Conference (SemTechBiz) is the foremost conference series on semantic technologies held each year, and covers a wide range of topics that are redefining the landscape. Please note that we are seeking compelling and thought provoking practitioner depictions of real-world experience.

We strongly favor presentations that include:

  • In-depth case studies
  • Step-by-step how-to's
  • Real brands
  • Solid data and resutls

Priority consideration is given to speakers with hands-on implementation experience and broad industry knowledge. Precedence is also given to presentations offering actionable ideas and substantive answers to specific, real-world questions (share the mistakes along with the successes!).

This page describes the speaking opportunities available at the conference, and some guidelines for submitting your proposal.

Speaking at the London Semantic Technology & Business Conference offers numerous benefits including an unparalleled platform to gain exposure among your industry peers; increased credibility for your business, project or team; and the opportunity to convey your goals and vision in this diverse community of technologists and business professionals.

Competition for speaking slots has increased each year, and unfortunately we often have to turn down many excellent proposals because of limitations on the agenda. In an effort to deal with this high demand, we are changing the format of some speaking opportunities in 2012. Please take note that the following opportunities are available:

Reviewed and Invited Presentation formats:

  • Conference Session – 30 minutes

Presentation Opportunities for All Conference Registrants

  • Sponsored Session – 30 minutes-Product/Company Showcase

These formats are designed to optimise the mix of educational presentations, case studies and discussion panels, as well as provide more opportunities for product developers and entrepreneurs to bring their work to the attention of customers, business partners and investors. A more complete explanation of these formats is available below.
